Multi-Flex Gold is a fast absorbing liquid supplement containing herbs such as devils claw root and nettle. It's dry equivalent, Multi-Flex, was the very first supplement that Hilary Self, Medical Herbalist/Co-Director, formulated and together they are some of our biggest selling herbal supplements for horses and ponies. After initial use, you could go onto the dry Multi-Flex (we do not suggest you give both together).
Owners might also like to consider our Releaf Gold occasionally alongside one of these supplements, when additional support is required.
Multi-Flex Gold can be given in conjunction with our Cush X range.
The Multi-Flex range can be more appropriate in some cases than our Senior Horse range. Do contact helpline@hiltonherbs.com for further advice.
One of our topical products Ezee Arnica , TLC Lotion or Muscle Magic, would be ideal to use alongside this mobility supplement or our Phytobalm cream for minor wounds.

I have two of my horses on the Multi-flex Gold. My 10 year old horse got flattened as a foal and has lived with a low grade issue from this which means he finds it harder to step through on one hind limb. With the multiflex I have noticed an improvement in his stride length behind and he seems more comfortable and not as stiff in his ridden work. My other a 17 year old welsh pony feels the cold and looks stiff I find this helps keep him comfortable as well. Thank you Hilton Herbs.

Ordered Multiflex Gold a couple of weeks ago, after a very helpful web chat with Kate. It was delivered two days after placing the order - thank you very much for the speedy delivery. My mare has now been on it 6 days and the stiffness has eased (not gone completely, think the physio will need to visit) and she has certainly got her get up and go back. Ribbon - 'retired' dairy goat. Saanan. Aged about 10. Ribbon had been a little 'quiet' for a few days, wanting a bit more fuss and attention than usual, not wanting to stand at the hayrack for long, getting up late, going to bed early, laying down when she would usually be grazing with her companion. Otherwise showing no other obvious signs. Called our vet but she was unable to visit unless an emergency - due to the Covid-19 Lock Down. After about a week of this, I saw that Ribbon was limping on her left front leg, able to bear weight but clearly not happy. Her 'knee' looked very slightly swollen and felt slightly warm, hoof seemed to be OK. Our vet was still unable to visit, however, she was happy for me to contact Hilton Herbs (as she knows we've had such good results from their products in the past - with our goats, greyhounds and chickens). I spoke to Kate at HH and explained the situation. Kate suggested I try using the equine Multi-Flex Gold that I already had in the cupboard, she suggested how much I should give explaining that it would take up to a week to get into Ribbons system. Kate also suggested giving Ribbon some cleavers, comfrey and nettles plus some hawthorn tops all things I could pick from my own land (under the Lock Down we are having problems getting mail/deliveries etc as in a very isolated place). I started Ribbon on this regime immediately. I put the Multi-Flex Gold on to her food twice a day and she took it without any problem (seemed to really like the taste). Within a few days she had really perked up and after week she was no longer limping and back to her usual, mischievous, naughty self.

Just about to re-order the Multiflex gold. I was in the process of changing supplements for my 20yr old TB/WB who has foot & joint issues. After consulting the guys at Hilton Herbs, they confirmed that the Multiflex Gold would be ok to feed alongside Farriers Formula & he's doing really well on it. Since being on the Multiflex Liquid Gold my pony feels 10 years younger. His physio said he flexed more like a 12 year old not a 22 year old. Such a good feeling. He is stabled most of the time due to cushings and EMS so his mobility and flex is really important. Can't recommend this product enough. He also showed signs of improvement very quickly when I started the supplement.

I bought Multiflex Gold as I have a ID/TB who has mobility issues and this definitely fitted the bill. There was definite improvement in two weeks starting off on the recommended amount and since he has been on this now for five months I have been able to reduce the recommended amount and he still feels good. I have been giving my horse MultiFlex, and previously Reflex, for many years now since his stride began to shorten as a teenager. At 29 years of age he is still coming out of his stable with a spring in his step so I shan't stop now!

I would like to thank-you from the bottom of my heart for your products. My farrier, Leif Erickson recommended you for months in his quiet way. I was spending a lot of money to no avail. I finally ordered the Multi -Flex Gold product. Keep in mind that I had not been able to brush my horse let alone exercise or ride him for 6 months. Prior to that it was very intermittent, he'd be ok for a week, then off for weeks. A pattern that had gone on for 3 years. After one month on your product, Dually's eye changed and I knew he was comfortable. I round penned him for 10 minutes the first day of work. The next I rode him for 15. Five days later we hosted a Josh Lyons clinic at my barn, and I rode Dually all day for three days!!!!! He was truly the best going horse in the clinic and I hadn't schooled him in more than a half a year.,I have recommended you to all my clients, clinic attendees, and fellow barn owners. Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you for giving me my wonderful 6 year old gelding back. You gave gained a lifelong client.
