The PLUS products were formulated in accordance with the FEI's initiative for Clean Sport. We carefully monitor our PLUS range products to minimise the risk of contamination from naturally occurring prohibited substances found in feed, herbs, and other plants. Each batch of the final product is screened for FCSs (feed contaminant substances) & HSPSs ( so-called herbal NOPS) to test for the absence of these prohibited substances. GastriX PLUS has been independently tested free of common feed contaminants (FCS) and current naturally occurring herbal prohibited substances.
Whilst we take every care to ensure that our PLUS range is free from naturally occurring prohibited substances we would refer all riders/horse-owners to the FEI Clean Sport website & more importantly the following legislation:
“As per the FEI Equine Anti-Doping & Controlled Medication Regulations, Article 2, 2.1.1 “It is each Person Responsible’s personal duty to ensure that no Banned Substance is present
in the Horse’s body.”
Our Pony has neck thread worm (attaches to nuchal ligament) as instructed by our Vet we have to worm every 2 weeks with Ivermectin double dose. The pony was looking very stiff and had the same trigger points as a horse with digestive issues, It was suggested by our barefoot trimmer that we use the Gastrix PLUS to support him due to the frequent worming for the thread worm. Since he has been on this supplement he has his movement back and is a much happier horse. Their has also been a real change in his temperament, when we first had him he was nearly unrideable, now he is doing veteran classes and could hack with a granny it’s amazing.
Alongside the regular worming the only other thing we have changed is to feed the Gastrix PLUS. Now on his third bottle we started on the full amount and are now feeding a maintenance amount. Thank you so much Hilton Herbs

My horse has always struggled with nutrients absorption. After moving yard and changing his feed, he ended up losing condition. 3 weeks on and I’ve noticed he’s put on weight (I didn’t change his feed). I’ll carry on feeding the supplement and hope it will carry on improving. I opted for a liquid formula as it is more economical long term.

Excellent product. My pony had a very grumbly tummy, since I’ve started feeding the supplement he is back to normal. He has also stopped eating dirt. He eagerly awaits his feed. He is not usually very greedy, he must know it's working.
