Directions for Use:

Administer orally
We recommend introducing the product gradually over a period of 5 - 7 days. If possible divide the recommended daily quantity between 2 administrations.
A 50ml scoop is included in the bag and full instructions can be found on the side panel of the bag.
Please allow 4 weeks for benefits to be seen.
Horses & ponies are individuals, so often a lower maintenance amount will be sufficient for long-term use.

We include Steamed Flaxseed in our Mud Defender supplement. This palatable plant is used as a rich source of Omega 3 & 6, that when fed can help support the skin's normal healthy integrity, strength and condition.

Omega 3s are found in Linseeds / Flax seeds, soya beans, and oily fish (sardines, salmon etc.). Omega 6s are found in nuts, sunflower seeds, etc. Flax/ Linseed also contains - phytoestrogens, flavonoids, a complex array of amino acids and micronutrients such as Thiamine ( Vit B1), Riboflavin ( Vit B2), Niacin ( Vit B3), Pantothenic acid ( B5), Vitamin B6, Vit C, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium and Zinc.

After trying many other products without result, I tested one of my horses on the Mud Defender. It hurt when he jumped because of scabs in the pasterns; after 15 days of using the supplement and local lotion, and for the last 3 months all the scabs have disappeared. In the Winter although he was out in the field the scabs have not returned! I am very happy with this product.
