Releaf Gold is a fast-absorbing liquid supplement containing the herbs Devil's claw root, Meadowsweet and White poplar. Ideal to keep handy in the tack room, Releaf Gold can be used both short-term or for longer periods, although for some horses our Multi-Flex range might be more suitable.
1:3 Tinctures of:
Devils Claw root (Harpagophytum procumbens)
Meadowsweet herb (Filipendula ulmaria)
White Poplar bark

In 2005 the UK’s Veterinary Medicines Directorate ruled that White Willow (Salix alba) was medicinal by function at any level, and that therefore it could not be included in any product that did not hold a medicines’ licence. Needless to say horses can quite safely eat willow leaves and twigs from trees that grow in their fields, and of course they do. When our medical herbalist first formulated Hilton Releaf in 2001 she included White Willow tincture as one of the ingredients. Subsequent to the 2005 ruling she reformulated the product in order to comply with the new ruling. The praise for this product just keeps coming so as they say the 'Proof is in the Pudding!'
I have added this to my old boys diet and he seems to be much more comfortable. He has a lot of tension over his back and that has become softer. He is now on it permanently. The best bit of the product is that he will eat his food with it in and, no matter how I try and disguise it, he will not touch anything with Bute or the alternatives so this will help him get some comfort during his advancing years.

I bought Releaf Gold as I have a ID/TB who needed something that helped when he got shod as he was sore for a couple of days afterwards. He is on Multiflex Gold on a daily basis and it just added that bit of comfort. It also helped when the ground was really hard in the summer months. Definitely recommend. Thank you Hilton Herbs.
