Our customers may notice a change in the look of our Gold liquid supplements, which are now more concentrated, and packed in a 1.05pt (500ml) bottle, helping us to further reduce the amount of plastic in our packaging.
Please don’t worry, the product is still made using the same fantastic ingredients and is just as cost-effective as before. As an added bonus, most of the tinctures/extracts used in our Proprietary Formulas are Certified Organic and/or Responsibly Wild Crafted, and the products now have a 5-year shelf life!
The main change to the products is that they no longer contain Apple Cider Vinegar. If customers want to continue offering their horses and pets this fantastic general health supplement it is still available from us as a “ straight”.
Our Gold Products are now being manufactured for us in the USA, by a company that for over 36 years has been producing the very finest botanical supplements. The company is fully compliant with the industry's toughest certifications and is registered with the FDA , as both a Food Facility and Drug Establishment, complying with the latest Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and USDA regulations.
One of the herbs used in this product is Valerian (Valeriana officinalis). Valerian is adored by both cats and mice. In the old days, when there was an apothecary or herbalist on every street, the herbs were often stored in wooden drawers in a large sideboard. It was said that you could always tell the drawer where the Valerian was stored because it would be rubbed shiny by the apothecary cat rubbing up against it and polishing the wood with its body. It is also suggested that the Pied Piper of Hamelin used Valerian to entice the mice and rats to follow him out of the town!

It works! I use it on my tb who has issues with the farrier and takes the edge off him. Great stuff and he loves it

This product has made a huge difference to my ageing gelding, his 'grumpy old man' attitude has not gone away but his attempts to flatten me have subsided. There is such a difference in his behaviour and you definitely know if he hasn't had it. It has also been tremendously helpful for a horse that I have got back from loan after 8 years away. He struggled to settle but once he was on the Calm & Collected Gold, his demeanour changed and he is now beginning to enjoy his new life. I will always have a good stock of it.

This product is honestly a lifesaver My horse was on 4 months box rest and turned into a bit of a cowbag I popped her on this and within about 10 days she'd settled so much It's meant that I've been able to get back riding quicker as she's not so nutty! I would definitely recommend
