GastriX is a dry supplement containing herbs such as slippery elm, meadowsweet and cramp bark to help maintain a healthy digestive system. In today's fast paced world, much is expected of horses. Many are working at high levels of fitness, frequently travelling or on concentrated protein diets. Some are unable to cope, lose condition, appear 'tucked up' or fail to thrive.
In these cases, consider using GastriX and perhaps looking into areas of their management which may need adjusting. Ideally all horses should have some form of turnout each day so they can relax and be a horse. When put under pressure they may have difficulty in maintaining a balanced digestive system, sometimes with very serious consequences.

One of Burdock's popular names is "Beggar's Buttons" this is because the fruiting seed heads of the plant are so prickly and clingy they can be used to fasten two pieces of cloth together. It is said that the inventor of Velcro got the idea from the Burdock seed heads!
I bought this when I was experimenting with different ulcer supplements earlier this year, I now have my horse on a supprotive supplement for foregut but felt I wanted to offer some hindgut support, which I understand herbs like slippery elm do, so I have started to use this product at half dose (so as not to overdo things with the other supplement) A convenient mix of beneficial herbs :)

As a regular user of GastriX I recommend it to everyone. Recently a horse which was struggling to eat has been turned around after 3 days. Eating, moving around, much perkier. Another horse with massively improved feet with GastriX as part of the new regime. Can't recommend this product highly enough. My pony was showing signs of discomfort around his tummy, and I spent a fortune on various gut balancers which made no difference. My trimmer recommended GastriX; one course was all my pony needed! What a difference, I was so impressed. His droppings have also returned to normal. It's reassuring to know that you're feeding a quality herbal product with no nasty fillers. I have recently swapped to barefoot with my Dutch Warmblood - David my trimmer came out and wow! The comments he had and suggestions were amazing! He suggested I try the Gastri X as my mare has a lot of tenderness around her stomach. And wow! She is so much happier and much More cooperative in the school! I wasn’t keen on using something that wasn’t herbal based! And I can honestly say 4 scoops seems a lot but it didn’t affect her eating her food at all! And she is extremely fussy! Very happy customer! 4 more months to go!

My pony has a problem with hay throughout the winter and is fine when he is on just grass in the summer. I tried almost everything I think and ended up with a blend of 3 different products to keep him fine. Until I tried GastriX!! He responded very quickly to it and so when he's back at the stable I now know what to give him through the winter!!! =)

Hi : Just wanted to say a massive thank you for having a great product in GastriX. I have been using the product since Nov/Dec 2011 and the change in my horse is unbelievable. He was having little bouts of being upset, very naughty when I rode him (which wasn't like him)and also bad tempered. He is now a changed horse !! Thanks again

My horse has always been a bit stressed when stabled despite ad lib forage, lots of turn out and a fibre only diet. After a particularly stressful summer, including a yard move, her levels escalated, suggesting that she was far from comfortable. After research, I decided to trial Gastri-X as it seemed to be the most comprehensive herbal supplement on the market.
