For a balanced nervous and hormonal system
Daily cost=76p (assuming 3 level 50ml scoops/day)
Many mares, especially those that are very young or in poor condition, can exhibit excessive behavioural and physical signs when they are in-season. Early spring can also be a difficult time and yard changes such as the introduction of youngstock or new geldings can also create changes in behaviour. Use our proven herbal supplement to help support your mare and help her maintain a calm and steady outlook and a healthy balanced hormonal system throughout the year. Please note that herbs can take a month to be fully absorbed by the horse's system.
For more general support of behaviour and axiety issues try our Calm & Collected range. We do not recommend feeding these two supplements together as there would be duplication of many of the herbs and we would advise against giving additional valerian.
This supplement can also be helpful for competive stallions and 'riggy' geldings as well - please contact us for further details.

Our herbal supplements are added to the feed on a daily basis, if possible splitting the required amount between two feeds. Our liquid supplements could be given direct into the mouth (by way of a syringe) which can be useful if no feed is given during the summer months. Full instructions will be found on the packaging or in our VIDEO GUIDE but if you have any queries please do contact our Helpline for more information.
The amount of herbs you need to give is generally dependent on the height of your horse, with some allowance for type and the amount fed can sometimes be slightly increased or decreased as all horses & ponies are individuals and very often a lower maintenance amount will be sufficient for a horse or pony that is going to be kept on the herbs long-term.
Full instructions will be found on the packaging but if you have any queries at all please do contact our Helpline Freephone 0800 294 1250 or email us for more information.

One of the ingredients in this mix is a herb called Vitex agnus castus which is the seed from a Mediterranean shrub that looks exactly like a small grey/black peppercorn. This description accounts for its other names - Chaste Tree Berry or Monk's Pepper and the herb acquired this name in Medieval times when it was used in the monasteries to reduce libido in the young amorous novices!
Q: Do the seeds of the Vitex agnus castus contain hormones?
A: No, the seeds do not contain any hormones
