This was the very first mix Hilary Self Medical Herbalist, formulated, for her husband's young horse, whose mobility was affected. Since then Hilary has tweaked the formulation a couple of times to further improve the supplement ! This tried and tested formula will help your horse or pony maintain supple joints, muscles and optimum mobility whatever their age and might be more appropriate in some cases than our Senior Horse formula. We recommend this mix as being " suitable for horses or ponies prone to laminitis"
Owners might also like to consider our Releaf Gold to be used occasionally alongside one of our mobility range if additional support is required. Do ask us on the Helpline.
Please allow up to one month for full benefits to be seen.
At 3 x 50ml scoops per day, a kilo should last approx 24 days, costing approx 85p per day

Our herbal supplements are added to the feed on a daily basis, if possible splitting the required amount between two feeds. Our liquid supplements could be given direct into the mouth (by way of a syringe) which can be useful if no feed is given during the Summer months.
Full instructions will be found on the packaging or in our VIDEO GUIDE but if you have any queries please do contact our Helpline for more information. The quantity of product added to your horse or pony's feed can be slightly increased or decreased, depending on the circumstances as, like humans, all horses & ponies are individuals. Very often a lower maintenance amount, will be sufficient for a horse or pony that is going to be kept on the herbs long-term.

Q : Does Multi Flex contain animal bi-products such as Glucosamine and Chondroitin which are made from animal cartilage?
A : NO - unlike many joint supplements for horses, that are made from animal bi - products none of our Mobility range contain any animal derived ingredients
This is the very first formulation our herbalist, Hilary Self, ever made.
At the time the mobility of her husband's young horse Ryan was affected. Their vet suggested using medication, but as the horse was relatively young, Hilary and Tony were very reluctant to use it. Luckily Hilary was able to use her knowledge of herbs to formulate a mix that he could safely be given every day. She selected a variety of herbs all known for their ability to support and maintain circulation, joints, and muscles, helping support optimum mobility.
One of the herbs included in Reflex is Devils Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens), a plant found predominantly in the Kalahari desert of East Africa, and in more recent times this plant has come to be known as the ‘herbal bute'.
