We understand that our customers have a unique relationship with their dogs, and of course every dog is special, but from time to time some of them need that extra bit of care, support and attention. In our Special Needs section we have canine herbal supplements that have been carefully and specifically formulated to help support these 'special needs' dogs, maintain their quality of life, restore the natural balance and encourage them back to full health. So if you have an elderly dog who struggles to shed his coat, one whose immunity needs that extra bit of support, an elderly bitch who can no longer remain dry overnight, or one who suffers during the pollen season, one of the following mixes may be just what you are looking for to help that special canine friend in your life. Hilton Herbs – The Natural Answer for your 'Special Needs' dog. " A dog wags its tail with its heart" - Martin Buxbaum
A pure herbal product that has been used successfully by many of our customers to help their dogs maintain a balanced endocrine system. As part of her BSc degree in herbal medicine our herbalist Hilary Self was required to undertake clinical trials. Hilary took the opportunity to trial a single herb called Vitex agnus castus. In response to the findings of this trial she then formulated Cush X for both dogs and horses. Owners have reported excellent results with this mix, especially with older dogs that struggle to shed their coats. Safe to use in conjunction with conventional medication.

If my dog is receiving conventional medication from my Vet such as Veterol, is it safe to use Cush X as well?
Many of our customers have used Cush X in conjunction with conventional medicines such as Veterol, however we always advise owners to should discuss this with their vets first. Veterinary medicine should never be reduced or discontinued without first seeking your vets advice.
Burdock - Arctium lappa - is known as the 'Power Digger' of the herb world because it is so effective at helping to cleanse tissues and pull waste products from tissues. It is so effective at this that it is important to always pair up Burdock with other herbs to help encourage the removal of these blood toxins and waste products from the body, herbs such as artichoke or dandelion. This could account for why the two plants were used to make the country wine Dandelion & Burdock.
