Calm & Collected
Tried-and-tested so your horse can be "Calm & Collected"
Daily cost = 85p : based on 3 level 50ml scoops/day
This tried-and-tested herbal calmer containing valerian, chamomile, and other calming herbs, will help your horse maintain a calm, healthy, and balanced nervous system. We recommend this supplement for use whilst schooling-on young horses, for changes in routine, or simply to help support tense, nervous or sensitive types. Its worth remembering that horses can become stressed and exciteable for very simple reasons, such as insufficient daily turnout, or not enough exercise in relation to their calorific intake. Daily turnout is vital for every healthy horse, especially for young, still maturing animals. Click here to see our Calm and Collected video.
If you have a mare and think her behaviour is affected by her seasons then consider our Easy Mare range instead but we we would not suggest giving both supplements together.

Our herbal supplements should be added to normal feed on a daily basis with the recommended amount being split between two feeds. Introduce gradually as with any new feed or supplement and build up to the maximum amount for your horse or pony's height over a period of several days. Allow 3-4 weeks for the herbs to be completely absorbed by the animal's system.
Full instructions will be found on the packaging or in our VIDEO GUIDE but if you have any queries please do contact our Helpline for more information. The quantity of product added to your horse or pony's feed can be slightly increased or decreased, depending on the circumstances as, like humans, all horses & ponies are individuals. One of the herbs used in this product is Valerian (Valeriana officinalis). Valerian is adored by both cats and mice. In the old days, when there was an apothecary or herbalist on every street, the herbs were often stored in wooden drawers in a large sideboard. It was said that you could always tell the valerian drawer because it would be rubbed shiny by the apothecary cat rubbing up against it and polishing the wood with its body. It is also suggested that the Pied Piper of Hamelin used valerian to entice the mice and rats to follow him out of the town.
